Who this series is for
It’s for people who are new to computers and AI, or who simply prefer things explained clearly. Perhaps a family member has mentioned ChatGPT. Perhaps you’ve seen a news story about AI scams. Either way, you’re in the right place.
Three things to remember
- You don’t need to pay. Well-known AI assistants have free versions that need no credit card.
- AI can be wrong. Use it for ideas and drafts, and check anything important.
- Keep private things private. Never type passwords, bank details or ID numbers.
