Go from idea to a first slide deck

A useful outline before the pretty slides.

1

Write the takeaway

Decide what your audience should remember. Keep one main point per slide.

2

Create a short outline

Provide a title, audience, purpose and five or six key points in Gamma.

3

Generate and edit

Review the structure first. Remove repetition and replace vague text with your own examples.

4

Check the export

Verify facts, image suitability and text size. Open your exported file to check that the layout survived.

A prompt to get you started.

Copy this into Gamma and replace the parts in square brackets with your own details.

YOUR STARTING PROMPT

Create a six-slide presentation about [topic] for [audience]. Start with the problem, explain three useful ideas, and finish with next steps. Use only these facts: [facts]. Mark gaps instead of inventing statistics.
