Find an answer you can actually check

Learn to follow the source, not just the answer.

1

Ask a narrow question

Set a location and date if those affect the answer. Request official or primary sources.

2

Open the source links

Make sure each source says what the answer claims. A linked page may only support part of a sentence.

3

Check dates and disagreement

Look for an update date and a second source. Old prices, rules and product details can mislead.

4

Keep a trail

Save the useful URLs and your notes. Treat any unresolved point as uncertain.
